This course is designed to help adults improve their writing, proofreading, editing, and revising to prepare for the general expectations of college English and college writing.  We will cover the basics of grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, paragraph development, and will eventually write effective essays with clear ideas, smooth transitions, and logical support.  We will practice planning, research, prewriting, and organizing our writing.  We will learn to write different types of essays, to properly format them, to cite sources, and to avoid plagiarism. Learning to proofread for punctuation, usage, content, and support will be emphasized.

This course looks at a variety of digital tools, available through any digital device, that make the process of memoir writing more fun and a little less daunting. A woman’s guide to understanding and managing pain. In this course, you will learn how women experience pain differently from men. You will discover how your hormones, nervous system, breathing patterns, and other factors affect the way a women's body perceives and responds to pain. You will also explore some strategies to cope with pain and improve your well-being. This course is designed to be informative, engaging, and empowering for all women who want to understand their pain better.

Many people have vision issues. A variety of iPhone/iPad settings allow you to use your device more easily when vision challenges arise. In this course you will learn where to find vision accessibility options and how to use them. The vision accessibility features are identical on the iPhone and iPad except in a couple of noted instances.
